s indicações do VMA 2026, premiação de clipes organizada anualmente pela MTV, saíram oficialmente e trouxeram algumas surpresas. Anunciadas nesta terça-feira (18), as categorias revelam que Madonna lidera as indicações, seguida de Taylor Swift como as mais indicadas da noite na disputa pelo Moon Person, aquela estatueta do astronauta cromado.
Enquanto a Rainha do Pop acumula 11 nomeações com o Confessions II – The Film, seu maior número desde as nove indicações recebidas em 1994 com Ray of Light e 1990 com Vogue, enquanto a voz de The Fate of Ophelia acumula nove possibilidades neste ano.
Além delas, nomes como Ariana Grande, Sabrina Carpenter, Bruno Mars, PinkPantheress e Zara Larsson aparecercem entre os mais indicados. Anitta, que já venceu três vezes o trófeu de Melhor Música Latina, recebeu sua quinta indicação na mesma categoria.
A cerimônia do VMA 2026 acontece no dia 27 de setembro, no Peacock Theatre, em Los Angeles, e será transmitida pela MTV e Paramount+, às 20h30min (horário de Brasília).
